something off a shelf, and it is the only way to get a piece that fits your room, your
use and what you actually want to spend.

Two ways to begin
Start from what you have seen.
Show us a form you like — from us, from a photograph, from anywhere. We work out what
it takes to make it well, then adapt the dimensions, timber, finish and detail to
your room and your budget.
You do not need a drawing. A rough sketch, a room measurement, a photograph of the
space, or a description of the problem is enough to begin. We will tell you honestly
what can and cannot be done.
The traditional work is the most visible, so it is what people assume we do. The
workshop's range is considerably wider than that, and all of it is built to the same
standard.

Rooted Spaces
A custom pooja room, built to the room's own measurements and the customer's idea
This pooja room was made for a particular space and a particular vision — shaped
around the room's measurements and designed to carry the feeling of a temple into the
home. The idea was inspired by the presence of Linga Bhairavi at Isha, and every part
was made to bring that vision into the space.

We do not build the business around one timber. What a piece is made from depends on
what it has to carry, where it will stand, how it will be used, what finish it needs
and what you want to spend. A dining table in a humid coastal house and a wardrobe in a
dry room are not the same problem.
That decision happens in the consultation, with the reasons explained, so you are
choosing rather than being sold to.
